Disappointing experience at this clinic. I arrived just 4 minutes late with my sick 17-month-old son after struggling to find parking. The receptionist called to say the doctor could no longer see us. I told her I was already at the front of the clinic, and she told me to come down, only to then say we still couldn’t be seen. After looking into the matter, I understand the receptionist made this decision without consulting the doctor or management. She had no right to make that call. That said, I appreciate that management took my concerns seriously, investigated the situation, and acted promptly to address it. I’ve previously waited over an hour past my appointment time without complaint, so this felt very unfair and lacking compassion.

I had a very positive experience at Active Medical. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Loni was lovely and made me feel very comfortable. I will be visiting this Clinic again when I need to.

Dr Mirjana is truly a wonderful and caring doctor. From the moment you walk into her room, she makes you feel heard, understood, and supported. She listens with genuine compassion and takes the time to understand your situation without ever making you feel rushed or dismissed. Her calm, positive energy creates a sense of comfort and trust, and her kindness shines through in every interaction. She explains things clearly, offers thoughtful guidance, and always makes you feel like your wellbeing is her priority. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines professionalism, empathy, and genuine warmth the way Dr Mirjana does. She has made a real difference in my life, and I am truly grateful for her care.

I made my appointment four days in advance for 11:00 am. On the day of the appointment, I received a call asking if I could come at 12:30 pm instead, and I was happy to accommodate the change. I arrived 10 minutes early and was told that my child needed to see a nurse before seeing the doctor. That was completely fine with me, even though I had not been informed of this when I made the booking, neither the nurse had told me during our previous appointment. However, by 12:50 pm we were still waiting. I then saw the nurse walks past with her lunch bag and returns to her room. I approached the receptionist to ask when we would be seen. I also asked why my child needed to see the nurse first, as this had never been communicated to me when I booked the appointment. This appointment was for my child, and it's very difficult to keep a young child sitting still while waiting for such a long time. Waiting an extra 30 minutes without any explanation made the experience even more stressful. What I don't understand is why our appointment was scheduled right before the nurse's lunch break. If the nurse doesn't have a fixed lunch break, and we had arrived 10 minutes early, shouldn't we have been seen before she went to lunch? If she does have a fixed lunch break, why was our appointment booked at that time in the first place? I completely understand that sometimes clinics run behind schedule due to unexpected circumstances, delays can happen. However, booking a patient at a time that overlaps with the nurse's lunch break and then leaving them waiting for over 30 minutes—especially when the appointment is for a young child—is something that should be avoided. This level of scheduling and communication is simply unacceptable. Both doctor and nurse are nice, just better communication and more thoughtful scheduling would have made this a much better experience.
