The care that's given at Geelong hospital is amazing.The doctors and nursing staff are top notch. My complaint has to do with the lack of cleaning.The entrance to the hospital is discusting, over flowing rubbish bins and filthy floor.Floor around the lift area also was really dirty. It's such a shame a lot goes on first impressions. A bit of a let down.

We are very fortunate to have the Health Care of such a professional standard in Geelong and the greater Barwon Region. Barwon Health and the Geelong Hospital is exemplary in its dedication, empathy and commitment to the care of the community. Whilst I still work casually as a Paramedic for a private Emergency Service I have lived with multiple Myeloma since 2013 following a 25 year career as a MICA Paramedic employed by Ambulance Victoria. Being immunocompromised I am susceptible to infections. On my return from working in Queensland I presented to the Barwon Health EMD at 2:30pm on Saturday the 11th of April, 2026. I was complaining of an acute history of query a chest infection that had been resistant to antibiotics. My care from Triage, Administrations and direct contact by ward staff, X-ray, Doctors and Nursing staff was professional and reassuring. I would like to pay a special thank you to RNs Tom, Bridget and Dr Asin. Thank you 🙏 P.S diagnosed with Whooping Cough.

I would like to leave a heartfelt review for the midwife Coll morrison, who supported me . Coll Morrisonwas absolutely amazing. From the very first moment, it was clear that her approach was different. She was incredibly confident, calm, and professional, with a level of precision and expertise that truly stood out. You can immediately feel her experience—not just in what she does, but in how she does it. She made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for as a patient. The difference I felt while being under her care was huge, and it had a very positive impact . I was honestly so happy and relieved to have her with me throughout the process. Thank you, Coll morrison , for your strength, skill, and compassion. You truly made this experience special for me, and I am very grateful.

Attended an appointment today through Allied health services for my daughter Staff were efficient, friendly but the cafeteria table area was a letdown dirty tables , flooring inexcusable. Visited between 12.30 to 12.50 and again 2 to 3 and same tables dirty , same messes with no cleaners in sight

I would like to thank a lot the wonderful hospital staff and the postpartum care at this hospital. I was incredibly pleased with the service, especially the maternity ward staff, who worked with passion, friendliness, and support. Especially the midwives Amber and Emily who was with me on delivery day and helped me adjust after❤️❤️❤️ They made birth of my baby smooth and relaxed, and also helped me with the baby and recoverafter the birth.
