Google MapsHope Aged Care, please do your research and don't simply accept everything you're told during the admission process. In my experience, the promises made do not reflect the reality. Hope Aged Care appears to be more focused on the financial side of the business than on providing the standard of care residents deserve, particularly in the memory support ward. There are ongoing concerns about chronic understaffing, poor-quality food, and the overall cleanliness of the facility. The saddest part is that the PCAs and many of the nurses are the ones who face the frustration and anger of families. They work hard under difficult conditions, but their hands are often tied because they don't have the staffing or resources they need to provide the level of care residents deserve. Unfortunately, raising concerns with management has, in my experience, achieved very little. Rather than addressing the issues, it feels as though complaints are ignored or placed in the "too hard" basket. Families deserve honesty and transparency when choosing an aged care facility for someone they love. I encourage anyone considering Hope Aged Care to ask questions, visit at different times of the day, and make an informed decision based on what they see for themselves.
