The Lighthouse Psychology Practice

All about money practice, my initial appointment was not even helpful and I paid more than $200. The doctor was just telling me that I have PTSD but no treatment plan discussed My second appointment, I booked it and I called the reception to inform them that I am now transitioning to a work cover they said just to bring in my relevant paper work. When I came there the old lady receptionist was talking to her personal phone before assisting me after few minutes being in call and she said I have to pay the full price and reimburse it. Again $200. I gave her the work cover paper work, I just told her my case manager told me that I can be covered for psychologist as long as it covers $10,000 budget, but the receptionist did not even listen and told straight away that "nope" with smirk. I just cancelled my appointmet because the lady was just hassling me that I need an approval and all and everything and did not even gave a little sympathy to listen what I said lol, I also work with work cover patient, and I never refuse patient like this to pay, more likely I will be intouch with the case manager to confirm things. Thanks, won't come back here again. Reason why the rating is 3 star? You work for a psychology practice and doesn't know to emphatize patients. After coming there I just kept crying at home made my anxiety worse.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Lighthouse Psychology. From the very beginning it felt like the focus was more on money than on genuinely helping clients. The fees are incredibly high, yet the support provided was minimal and did not feel worth the cost at all. The psychologists I interacted with did not offer any meaningful guidance, and most sessions felt like a waste of time. It was frustrating to walk away with no real progress or value, despite paying such high prices. It’s very difficult to get timely assistance, and the whole process comes across as disorganised and profit-driven rather than client-centred. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Lighthouse Psychology.

I have been seeing Kara at Moorebank for about one year now and she has been amazing. I was worried I wouldn't find another psychologist after moving area, but found this practice and have been very happy. The reception staff area always friendly and Kara has helped me tremendously since I started seeing her. My daughter has also seen a psychologist here and we are very happy with her too.
