I had a total hip replacement a week ago and have spent this week recuperating on Ward C. Excellent nursing and medical staff, I can't speak too highly of them. They do a a great job under trying circumstances. It's obvious where the health cuts handed down by the LNP have hit - maintenance - a light that wouldn't turn off, a wheel that fell off a bed whilst the patient was in it. Catering - Food that you wouldn't feed to a dog. I have never had a 'curry' before that consisted of a gelatinous, amorphous brown mush with a curry smell that had four pieces of an indeterminate 'meat'. It was supposed to be lamb. Served with packet mix mashed potato. Not a vegetable in sight. How people are supposed to get better on that sort of crap is beyond me.

Just go to Laura, Kadina or even Port Augusta. Would rather drive there and risk my life then attend this hospital.. Go here if you would like negligence

To the emergency staff who took care of my wife Rosie tonight, they were very professional and friendly and did a fantastic job, and we made it home safe. Well done to all. Cheers, Rosie and John

I attended emergency today and could not fault the staff. They were caring and professional and the doctor showed humanity and care. I do not normally attend emergency department but in this case I would have put my health at risk if I had not driven more then an hour to seek medical help.

Don't bother calling the Hospital Dentist, both my husband and I have been trying to call for two days straight and are continuously put on hold, only to be hung up on. Don't bother calling for dental emergencies, better off going in which is often a waste of time.
