Do not go to this hospital if you value your privacy. I was forced into signing away my medical privacy under duress because I was told I would not receive medical treatment if I did not sign the form. I was not told what the form was about. Heard the nurse boast later that was how he got patients to sign away their privacy all the time. He also said that he thought public patients should just do as they are told. They have still not got back to me even though I made a formal complaint. DO NOT GO THIS HOSPITAL - SUCH A LACK OF INTEGRITY.

We arrived with my husband in horrific pain. The staff were warey at first until I explained that he had a AAA performed 5 weeks prior. They couldn't do enough called the radiographer in to check he didn't have a new tare in the end he was air lifted to the RAH. I glad his problem happened in Pirie not at home near Wallaroo as there they would have just sent him on as it would have been in the too hard basket.

My mum was admitted last night, when I called from interstate, the switch receptionist knew exactly where she was and put me through to A Ward. The lovely nurse I spoke to was very helpful and put my mum on the phone for me to talk to her. If you can't understand the laws surrounding the privacy act, I recommend you look them up. Thank you for helping my mum when she needed it.

I'm very grateful for the caring, professional service when recently in hospital. Everyone was so attentive and I felt at ease and a special thank you to the amazing catering staff as the food was really great and they catered so well for my special dietary needs. Thank you to all the wonderful nurses and support staff, we're so lucky to have the Port Pirie Regional Health Service in our city.

I went to emergency department on the 18th of January. Kim was the nurse. Due to my condition (kidney stones) I have been to several hospitals and this has been by far THE best treatment I ever had in an emergency department in Australia. Thank you for your help and keep up the good work.
