Minus 0 stars if I could. Most corrupt council in NSW. Approving building and houses contrary to legislation, approving structures breaking all operational safety requirements, and looking after their own pockets. Houses and duplexes are built on top of each other. As a result it is impractical to live in Merrylands, Guildford, and Auburn anymore. This council should really consider changing its name to Dodgy Brothers Pty Ltd.

Worst customer service had with this Cumberland council. They were much better when it was Holroyd, at least staff were aware where to divert the inquiry. I called today and they put me through three different people with no one had an answer. At last lady over the phone said I can't hear you and docked me.

I recon the new council doing well. The fireworks held in Holroyd Garden are much better than previous years. And council changed new bins for residence and better bins selection than the previous. I have no complaints and so far very happy of the new council.

Absolute rubbish customer service.. can't believe our tax dollars are going to lazy and incompetent staff. Website links are clearly bugged making navigation and information search extremely difficult. Facilities manager Angeleau is extremely useless in resolving a simple issue of a PDF application form that is missing sections and 'email form' function not working. When asked about the issue Angeleau proceeds to ignore the problem and suggests other customers have never had this issue filling out forms electronically. I've had to chase several times to even receive her attention to the matter. Due to her lagged responses our application will be late and will incur us an extra late application fee.
