Cumberland City Council Seniors And Disa

I have paid a deposit of around $6,000. plus fees and charges nearly 7 weeks ago to get level for driveway and still nothing. I was told 3 weeks. Keep being told they are working on it. My builders says that they get this from other councils in 48 hours to 1 week. Really angry that my building is being help up by something that should have been done weeks ago.

If i could rate it a zero i would! I've been trying for almost the past week and a half to get a hold of someone from the council whom i can speak with in regards to hall bookings but I just keep getting through to voice mails and no return calls back either! after I left so many voice mails! so frustrating and very annoying! This council needs to be shut down or replace with people who are willing to do their jobs right!!!

After months of sending pictures and details about the filthy state of Pendle Creek, Cumberland City Council’s “considered” response was - there’s nothing we can do. They’re busy taking our money through rates and fines however, they’re reluctant to spend it where it matters most. They do not care about the environment, they don’t care about cleanliness or community. They are about money making and not serving the community who elected them. Shame on Cumberland Council!

Has to be the worst council in NSW, I live in a semi industrial area and there are a million potholes the size of a full grown turtle, trucks and cars are swerving just to avoid these and almost causing accidents, I’ve notified them now for atleast 2 months, everytime they come to fix the pothole, they do a bad job and the pot hole expands. Also have very bad customer service.

Absolutely worst council and having lived in different Sydney ateas, this is the worst. Since amalgamation has become atrocious. (Prior to amalgamation was much better). Terrible customer service and won't reply to emails or leaves you on hold during calls in hope you will hang up. Do not know what they do with our rates but do not care about local community.
