Committing to small group training 2 x per week at The Biomechanics has been the best decision I have made since joining in June, 2021. The team of Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists are the best! So kind, patient, nonjudgmental, knowledgeable and fun. I never thought I’d be a “gym person”, but I absolutely love it and feel so much healthier, stronger and lighter in my body now. Since I started, my body composition has gradually changed to have a much higher muscle mass to fat ratio and I can see the results in the mirror and feel it in my clothes. I can even fit into my old “skinny” clothes now! Alister writes a fantastic program, which has consistently supported me to meet my goals and reach new PB’s. I’m really proud of myself and so grateful to all the trainers who have supported me with kindness, even on my “off” days.

Jacinta helped me get through my post op Achilles tendon injury, recurring disc bulge, jumpers knees and tennis elbow. I’ve had these pains for a long time, being in my mid 40s and with a very active lifestyle. I thought these pains were just part of getting older but after doing rehab with Jacinta, I felt a lot better! Thanks to her! The BioMechanics staff are professionals and friendly. Their clinic and gym are quite pleasant as well! Well done team!

I was never a "gym person" but have been attending Biomechanics in Footscray each week for 2 years. The Team know how to tailor their approach to your needs and importantly, make exercising fun so you stick at it! Sam P (and Sam W) developed specific exercises for me to prepare for my adventures, including kayaking, hiking and cycling. I can't recommend Sam and the Team highly enough!

Thoroughly enjoy coming to the Biomechanics. The team are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and motivating with a great atmosphere to be apart of. I have been training here for 2 years, originally coming for a long-term injury. The team have helped shift my thoughts and beliefs around my injury tremendously and have also adapted alongside my goals and have helped me grow and feel my strongest version yet. Also... the dogs are my favourite team members by far
