I could not be happier with the service I received at The Biomechanics Glen Iris. The staff of exercise physiologists (Sam, Melissa and Emma) and allied health assistants (Jamie) are all fantastic and have helped me tremendously. Kat, the receptionist, could not be more accomodating. Fantastic equipment, great community, and worth every cent.

Excellent exercise and rehabilitation clinic. When I first came here I was incredibly unfit and coming back from several chronic injuries. The Biomechanics team at Glen Iris has rehabilitated me and I've never been fitter! Thank you Emma, Mel, Sam & Kat!!

I joined Biomechanics four months ago and couldn’t be happier. Melissa and Sam are true professionals who tailor my program to my needs and monitor my progress weekly. They make sure I execute every exercise properly and safely, and they’re always happy to offer insights and advice when needed. The gym itself is cosy yet modern, with great amenities and easy parking. Highly recommend.

Sam is absolutely fantastic! From the very first phone call, he took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve and offered thoughtful suggestions on how to get there. I really appreciated his collaborative approach. He even connected with my Osteopath to get a clear picture of my current condition. When we met in person, Sam took a deep dive into my physical health history, including past injuries, my goals, and what motivates me. He conducted a strength test on my quads and hamstrings to identify any weaknesses and establish a baseline, which helped shape a tailored plan. The exercise assessment was a game-changer. Sam guided me through movements to test my limits, and I was genuinely surprised by what I could do. Most importantly, I felt confident and safe with no fear of injury. We discussed different training options, and I chose a self-guided program that suits my motivation style, though Sam also offers group and personal training options. The results speak for themselves: I’ve increased my strength by 5% in just six weeks, and my knee recovery time has dropped from six weeks to just one and a half. I feel stronger, more active, and more empowered. Highly recommend working with Sam if you're looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and results-driven exercise physiologist!

I started going to Biomechanics after dealing with recurring ankle and knee injuries for the past few years. My goal was to finally get consistent with running, which had felt impossible for a long time. With Sam’s help, I’m now able to run 5K — something I truly thought was no longer possible because of my injury history. He believed I could do it even more than I believed in myself. His support, knowledge, and encouragement made all the difference. I can’t recommend Biomechanics and Sam highly enough.
